Wendy Venturini

Hometown:

Chicago, Illinois. Reside in China Grove, NC.

Affiliation with WAM:

I have been in racing my entire life. I decided to get involved with WAM 5 years ago because I loved their cause. I currently work full-time on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series as a pit reporter for Speed’s pre-race show, NASCAR Raceday and also for DirecTV’s NASCAR Hot Pass.

Favorite thing about WAM:

Helping others and giving back to our own community

Family:

My husband, Jarrad Egert, has been working in NASCAR for 10 years, 8 of those years with Joe Gibbs Racing. He is the Engine Tuner for the #20 Home Depot Toyota driven by Tony Stewart. We have been married since December, 2007. My family’s race team, Venturini Motorsports, has been in racing for 35 years. My dad, Bill, is a 2-time ARCA Champion. My brother, Billy, is a winning driver in ARCA and most recently, a winning crew chief for their other development drivers.

Something nobody knows about me:

I love interior decorating. My home is decorated very inexpensively because I only shop for good deals! And I also love to ride my motorcycle when I’m home! I have a purple Honda Shadow 600VTX.
