Women's Auxiliary of Motorsports to Hold Charity Auction

Concord, NC (October 4, 2004) – The Women’s Auxiliary of Motorsports is holding a silent auction featuring autographed Boyd’s Bears in custom display cases during the race week in Charlotte. The auction will run from Monday October 11, 2004 thru Sunday October 17, 2004. The Boyd’s Bears will be on display at Jeff Hammond’s Collectors World located at 5700 Concord Parkway South across from Lowe’s Motor Speedway. The hours of the auction will run from 8:00am to 9:00pm every day.

Driver Bears included in the auction are Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart, Bobby Labonte, Kevin Harvick, and Dale Earnhardt Sr. Each bear is 16 inches tall and has been autographed (excluding the Dale Sr. bear). The bears are displayed in custom made cases from Jeff Hammond’s Collector’s World and feature the bear, a die cast, and a driver photo. You may view the bears by going to waminc.org.

All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Women’s Auxiliary of Motorsports. The funds will then be used to support the many initiatives taken on by the organization each year.
