Women's Auxiliary of Motorsports Teams Up with Race Fans for a Cure

Concord, NC (October 1, 2004) – The Women’s Auxiliary of Motorsports is teaming up with Race Fans for a Cure to host a Race Fan Brunch presented by Ford Credit.

The Race Fan Brunch will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2004 at the Fleetwood Pavilion located in the Tom Johnson Camping Center near Lowe’s Motor Speedway. The event will begin at 9:00am and last until 11:00am. The cost is $25.00 per person with all proceeds benefiting the Women’s Auxiliary of Motorsports and Race Fans for a Cure.

The brunch will feature a question and answer and autograph session with some of the women of NASCAR. Scheduled to appear are Ann Schrader, Kim Burton, Kim Labonte, Gaye Joy, Ramona Vickers and Lisa Smokstad.

The event will also include a silent auction. Items include: an official Ford Sign autographed by Dale Jarrett, Robert Yates, Elliott Sadler, Matt Kenseth, Kurt Busch, Rusty Wallace among others, autographed die cast collectibles, a quilt autographed by numerous Busch drivers, an autographed Kevin Harvick stand-up and many other items.
